Parker is the author of the popular Spenser novels, the first of which, The Godwulf Manuscript, which came out in 1973, with the thirty-sixth, Rough Weather, due out in October of this year. With the novel Night Passage, written in 1997, Robert B Parker began a new series featuring Jesse Stone, a cop with a tangled personal life and a checkered career history.
